Teams take on the Audi Centre Sydney Bluewater Pointscore

The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia is excited to announce the start of the Commodores Series within the upcoming Audi Centre Sydney Bluewater Pointscore.

The Commodores Series incorporates the Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race, the Cabbage Tree Island Race and the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and awards winners across IRC, ORCi and PHS Overall.

Within the series there will be a teams event called the Commodores Cup pitting Club against Club with three yachts joining forces with teams aiming have the best combined score in IRC across the three races (one boat must have an IRC TCC under 1.3).

Competitors who have already entered the Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore Series are automatically entered into the Commodores Series. Competitors who enter just the Commodores Series will be entered into the Cabbage Tree Island Race as a Casual Entrant.

All yachts are entered into both Line Honours and PHS, with competitors who have submitted valid IRC and ORCi Certificates being automatically entered into that series/division.
