Infotrack
InfoTrack finished fourth over the line after a protracted battle with Wild Oats XI, Black Jack and Comanche in the 2018 Rolex Sydney Hobart. She was lauded by the other super owners, as conditions did not suit this heavier boat, but she gave the top three a run for their money. Software supremo, Christian Beck, bought Perpetual Loyal from Anthony Bell in 2017, renamed her InfoTrack, and finished fourth on line in 2017, inside the Rolex Sydney Hobart record set by this boat when owned by Bell. Despite a few bumps along the way, this boat continues to defy her critics. Beck ordered changes last year, including modifying the water ballast system, all new winch motors, adding a J Zero (masthead headsail off the bowsprit) to the inventory and a whisker pole.
