Koa

Koa

Koa, which means strong in Hawaiian, is a 2004 Farr designed, Goetz built TP52.  She was originally called Sjambok and was built alongside Bright Star, which was Quest, and Esmeralda, now One Sails.  The yacht will be sailed throughout the year in the Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore, culminating in the 75th Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.  Its first outing in this year's Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race netted it an 8th in its very competitive IRC Division.
